The trails are laid out by volunteers, many of whom are members of the club "The Trail Brothers" based in Massa Marittima. New ones are periodically created and existing ones are improved.
For those who want to enjoy the beauty of Massa Marittima in complete tranquility after a bike ride, or want to enjoy an ice cream in the city, you can park your bike in a guarded Bike-Garage, located in Via Butigni, in front of the facade of the Cathedral.

Wine Tasting
Wine tasting in Massa Marittima is not just an activity, but a journey of discovery. Every sip tells a story of the land, the climate, and the passionate winemakers who dedicate their lives to perfecting their craft. From robust reds to crisp whites, Massa Marittima wines offer a diverse palette of flavors and aromas, each a testament to the region's unique terroir.
The Morisfarms winery is one of the historic wineries of the Maremma Toscana, located just 10 minutes from the center of Massa Marittima.
This family-run winery has established itself as a world-class producer of premium Tuscan wines. The first "Supertuscans" from Maremma and the local pride of Avvoltore. The Moris family was one of the pioneers in producing the Morellino di Scansano appellation, as well as other red, white and rosé wines.
In the brand new Terrazza Moris, the Moris family welcomes guests to the heart of its three-hundred-year-old estate, where the history of its iconic cypress avenues is told and where it is possible to buy wines, enjoy cool evenings and admire one of the most evocative panoramas of the Maremma countryside, overlooking the Gulf of Follonica and the islands of Elba and Montecristo.
Oil Tasting
Maremma Toscana oil is famous for its organoleptic properties and stands out in the Italian panorama for its quality, aroma and taste.
Agriturismo Tesorino boasts a production of extra virgin olive oil, obtained from the 4,500 historic olive trees present within the property, which Elena, the owner and official taster, personally takes care of throughout the year.
External visitors can request to participate in the mini tasting course, and learn to appreciate this precious condiment.
Course participants are guided through a sensory journey, exploring the nuances of flavor that characterize the oil of this region.
Guests are then invited to sample a variety of oils, each with its own distinct profile. They learn to discern the subtle hints of artichoke, almond, and freshly cut grass, as well as the peppery finish that indicates a robust, antioxidant-rich oil.
At the end of the course, participants leave with a renewed appreciation for the craftsmanship and dedication involved in producing Maremma Toscana oil, as well as a deeper connection to the land that nourishes these ancient olive trees.
